An opening speech:

Recognizing the role of education in general and higher education in particular in the mobilization and structuring of society, the Algerian state has always made continuous efforts to support the university and education in general in order to achieve the objectives of sustainable development in its economic and social aspects. In this respect, Ammar Thaliji University in Laghouat seeks to fulfill its role and social responsibility in achieving sustainable development, as it strives to be a modern university that keeps pace with local and global changes to take its place among the leading national and international universities. Since its founding, the University of Laghouat has worked to implement its basic role of confronting all challenges to improve the quality of its graduates output and to respond to the changes in the work market and the economic conditions prevailing in the country by offering training proposals in accordance with the market requirements and producing graduates who are able to compete in the internal and external work markets. While exerting these efforts, it is keen to provide everything that would enrich the knowledge of its students and refine their personality in order to reach the required qualification level. In an attempt to provide information and bring the student closer to the source, especially in the light of the changes in the higher education system, the Vice Rectorate in charge of higher graduation education and diplomas has decided to create an area on the university website to communicate with students enlisted in the different levels of graduation to respond to their inquiries and provide them with all necessary information that they need along their academic career in order to build their future project. Through this space, we also provide students with a number of legislative and organizational texts that define the procedures for registration, re-registration and progression in the various university levels, as well as the methods of evaluation and progression.

We are trying as much as possible to provide our students with the available information and database related to the academic issues, and we will maintain the link between us via the e-mail address of the Vice Rector in order to respond to the inquiries of our dear students. We wish all our students success and happiness, praying to Allah to guide their steps and fulfill their wishes in order to serve their country and people.

The Vice Rector
