Département of Process Engineering
The department was launched under the name of “Industrial Chemistry” at the Faculty of Science and Engineering Sciences from 1996/1997. The Department continued to train engineers and short-term training / Diploma in Applied University Studies (DEUA) in the following disciplines:
– chemical engineering
– Organic methods engineering
– Pharmaceutical methods engineering
– analysis
In accordance with the ministerial decision of September 30, 2010, the new designation of the department has been approved by the Process Engineering department.
After the creation of the Faculty of Technology in accordance with Executive Decree No. 10-198 of 15 Ramadan 1431 corresponding to August 25, 2010. After the adoption of the decision to divide the Faculty of Science and Engineering of July 2011 in two colleges: the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Technology. The department has joined the Faculty of Technology.
As part of the reforms introduced by the Algerian university, the LMD system was adopted,
Bachelor- Master -Doctorate- Specialization in engineering methods in 2007/2008.
The first Bachelor training was launched in parallel with classical training, then with the opening of other specializations, offering students new horizons to progress towards disciplines corresponding to future needs, whether in the field of scientific research or in that applied to the industrial sector.
