Scientific research is a vital tool for the social, economic and cultural development of nations and people. It represents an important part of the functions of the university and the tasks of its teachers. Targeted and ambitious scientific research makes the university innovative and visible at the national and international level.
The Vice Dean’s Office in charge of post-graduation, scientific research and external relations plays a major role in the development policy of the University. A policy that includes among its objectives the provision of excellent postgraduate studies and the production of creative and innovative research, in order to meet the needs and concerns of the socio-economic sector.
In post-graduation, the Office of the Vice-Dean ensures that new knowledge is acquired in order to provide excellent scientific training for doctoral students. It also works to stimulate research by monitoring the activities of research laboratories and units, as well as carrying out any activity that would enhance the results of research, and collecting or disseminating information about research activities implemented within the faculty. In addition, the external relations service makes the Vice Dean’s Office a window to the outside world through the monitoring and organization of various scientific events such as high-level national and international conferences and study days which contribute to facing the scientific challenge which arises as much in the faculty as in the entire university.
In order to carry out these tasks in a systematic and efficient manner, the Vice Dean’s Office has:
- Post-graduation training follow-up service.
- Service for monitoring research activities.
- Cooperation and external relations service.
