The Pure and Applied Mathematics Laboratory (LMPA) of Amar Telidji University of Laghouat is structured in five research teams: Functional analysis and harmonic analysis, Operator theory, Partial differential equations and applications, Numerical analysis and optimization, Quadratic optimization and modeling. The human component of the laboratory is made up of two Professors, five MCA, 11 MCB, 11 MAA, 3 MAB and 14 doctoral students. The members of the laboratory make a very significant contribution to the undergraduate, master and doctorate courses open at the University of Laghouat. Since the creation of the PAML in 2011, several doctoral and habilitation thesis and master’s thesis have been defended. In addition, several research and university training projects, some completed and others in progress, have made it possible to develop research work, both theoretical and applied, which has been valued by several national and international communications as well as a variety of scientific articles published in recognized international scientific journals.
