The Faculty of Social Sciences was established at the beginning of the 2016-2017 academic year by Executive Decree No. 16-72 of 13 January 1437, 22 February 2016, within the framework of the new structure originally defined by higher education. Therefore, it is a new faculty, but it is replete with extensive experience through itsdistinct administrative crewand the qualified professors who were incorporated under the umbrella of the Faculty of law and social sciences as well as the Faculty of Humanities since its creation in 2010. The faculty of Social Sciences works hard together with its departments to ensure the best training and the quality of education needed, at all levels, administrative, pedagogical, and in the field of research .

 The faculty seeks to achieve not onlythe best quality in all educational practices: research, administrational work in the faculty, but also the optimal use of all the potential and the human resources available to promote the level of university education.This will be attained through the participation of all members of the faculty, to meet the needs of society, the requirements of the labour market, in accordance with the standards of quality generally accepted.
