What is a STAPS license?
A STAPS license is a bac + 3 level diploma. The training takes place over 6 semesters, giving you 180 credits at the end of your training. The Bachelor of Science and Techniques in Physical and Sporting Activities trains students in sports, but not only: it also includes all scientific, computer and statistical education. During your course, several courses are proposed to specialize you. You can find :
– sports management
A STAPS license lasts three years, face-to-face in continuing education. Dispensed within our university, the STAPS license offers a versatile and professionalizing path that allows you to work in the many sports sectors. A large place is also given to innovation in sports practices and in scientific research in the area.
What is the program for a STAPS license?
With a license in Sciences and Techniques of Physical Activities, a part of your time will be devoted to sports. The rest of your training will focus on theoretical courses, with the aim of developing the skills necessary for the exercise of your trade, in the required specialization. Regarding the courses, they vary depending on your specialization.
The internship complements these lessons. They are used to put into practice the lessons of the license.
-Department of sports management
The SM department determines the training policy in Sport Management. – it defines and promotes the training offer in MS,
– it ensures its consistency (orientation of models, outlets, etc.),
– it gives its opinion on all questions relating to the teaching of the MS specialty within the diplomas (License, Master),
– it ensures the adequacy between the skills expected by the professional environment and those delivered in the training content (theoretical and practical lessons, internships) so as to promote the professional integration of students,
– it determines the educational needs in MS prior to the recruitment of contractual or permanent colleagues.
