The Mechanical Engineering department

The Mechanical Engineering department was created in 1986 with the creation of the ENSET (National Higher School of Technical Education) with the aim of training technical education teachers for the central region of the country, but with the increase in the number of students and the support of the Algerian university for the training of short cycle students, an option was opened (industrial design and design office) to train DEUA students, once again the department was concerned with the continues training of technical executives that the region needs (Laghouat industrial zones, Hassi Rmel, Ghardaïa Ouargla, etc …). Four options in engineering were opened (Energetics, Materials Science, Mechanical Construction and Mechanical Manufacturing).

       The department follows the evolution as well as the reforms which follow from it and it was the pioneer at the national level to adopt the new system known as LMD (License Master, Doctorate) with the development by its Pedagogical Training teams of new programs for the LICENSE diplomas as well as the MASTER diploma and this for the three LICENSE options (Energy, Mechanical Construction, Materials Engineering) also for the MASTERS (Energy, Mechanical Construction, Materials Engineering, Mechanical & Productive Manufacturing and Industrial Maintenance)
