Given the importance of the university to society and its interests in a world where interaction and communication has become one of its most important features, it has been necessary to pay attention to the Department of Foreign Relations and give it importance through the establishment of the Vice Presidency in charge of external relations, cooperation, animation, communication and scientific events. In order to enhance and to institutionalize this process, an Executive Decree was amended under No. 10-198 of 15 Ramadan 1431 corresponding to 25 August 2010 amending and supplementing Executive Decree No. 01-270 of 30 Jumada II 1422 corresponding to 18 September 2001, establishing the University of Laghouat, as well as Article 25 of the Order Executive Decree No. 03-279 of 24 Jumada II 1424 corresponding to 23 August 2003, as amended and supplemented herein, detailing the subject matter of which the Presidency of the University comprises four (04) Vice-Presidents, including this one.
