Taouti, M. Saci <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The main areas of research are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Spectral, fractal, multifractal and wavelet analyses of hydrological series;<\/li>\n<li>Non-linear dynamics and search for chaos and strange attractors in the chronicles of rains and flows;<\/li>\n<li>Stochastic Analysis of Hydro-Meteorological Series Using Time-Frequency-Energy Techniques.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Team 2: Water and Environment <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Head of team: Professor. GAFSI Mustapha<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Members: A. Hamlat, A. Rayane<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The objectives of this team are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Development of scale models on the water reserves affected by the eutrophication problem;<\/li>\n<li>Elaboration of water-related development scenarios;<\/li>\n<li>Assessment of the management situation of water resources and monitoring development to optimize the selection of hydraulic savings system;<\/li>\n<li>Estimating the current availability of water in relation to the demand.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Team 3: Flow and Transport Phenomena<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Head of team: Professor DJEHICHE Abdelkader<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Members: A. Guidoum, M. Bouache, A. Djaballah<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The main objective is the study of the transport and storage of particles in porous media.<\/p>\n<p>The main research topics are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use of non-destructive experimental techniques;<\/li>\n<li>Channel tests on the dynamics of the sedimentary bottom;<\/li>\n<li>Numerical simulation of flows through earth dams.<\/li>\n<li>Study of the effect of the Peclet number and the salinity on the adsorption of colloids;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Team 4: Regional Hydrogeology and Vulnerability of Aquifers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Head of team: Professor STAMBOUL Madani<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Members: M. Sekkoum, K. Yamani<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The main research topics are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Define a methodology specific to the hydrogeological study of an environment characterized by its lithology, structure and water supply controlled by a semi-arid to arid climatic system, which is disturbed by mountain influences;<\/li>\n<li>Study and characterize the different sources of pollution and draw up maps of pollution vulnerability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Team 5: Deterministic and Stochastic Modeling <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Head of team: Dr. MOUATTAH Kaddour<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Members: W. Tadj, M.
