Welcome to the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture of Ammar Telidji University in Laghouat, a place of knowledge, passion and innovation.<\/span><\/p>\n

To all those who, by this click, discover our Faculty, to those who have heard about it, to those who know it through its teachers, to those who have met students and graduates. Nevertheless, those who have never had the opportunity to visit it, you are now on the digital portal of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture of Ammar Telidji University in Laghouat.Our faculty consists of two departments, the Department of Civil Engineering and the Department of Architecture. If these two departments are different by their fields of research and their educational programs, they are rather independent and their common objective is to allow close and\u00a0 direct support for each student <\/span>The animation of student life is a dynamism and scientific progress make our faculty a place of knowledge, discovery, shared life, integration and commitment <\/span>A intending to promote a dynamic and open faculty in the different research sectors and offering a very wide range of qualifications and certificates within the two departments<\/span>.<\/span>The development of academic and professional education also helps make our faculty attractive in its ability to adapt to a continuously changing economic environment <\/span>The quality supervision of our faculty consists of academics and professionals, ensuring a constant adaptation of training to technological development and a direct openness to the world of employment and research, ensuring to our graduates a rapid integration into working life and the possibility of continuing doctoral studies<\/span>. <\/span>As dean, I feel privileged to be at the head of this new faculty. The primary strength of our Faculty lies in the people who belong to it (managers, teachers, students\u00a0 \u00a0and staff), in the ideas and values \u200b\u200bthat we share and we try to transmit .<\/span>We will continue on this way and we will make the quality of the academic content and the intellectual requirement of our main objectives in order to provide high-level professionals to contribute to the development of the country. Together, then, let us work to accomplish our noble mission and perform the full potential of our faculty.<\/span><\/p>\n

Roles and Missions of the Dean:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The dean of the faculty is appointed by decree based on the proposal of the Minister responsible for higher education, after the estimation of the university president, from among the practicing teachers belonging to the grade of professor or, senior lecturer.<\/span><\/p>\n

The dean is responsible for operating the faculty and ensures the management of its human, financial and material resources. As such, it:<\/span><\/p>\n

Authorizes the operating credits delegated to him by the university president,<\/span><\/p>\n

Names the faculty members for whom no other method of appointment is provided,<\/span><\/p>\n

Ensures and exercises hierarchical authority over all the personnel placed under his authority,<\/span><\/p>\n

Prepares faculty council meetings.<\/span><\/p>\n

He draws up the annual activity report that he sends to the university president, after approval by the faculty council. The Dean of Faculty is assisted in his tasks by:<\/span><\/p>\n
