Presentation of the Department of Arabic Language and Literature

The Department of Arabic Language and Literature provides Learning opportunities for more than 1,000 students; the department contains a runway, 12 classrooms, the teachers’ room, and an amphitheatre.

The Department of Arabic Language and Literature conducts several scientific activities, including holding international and national conferences in linguistics, literary and critical disciplines, and in the relation of these disciplines to other sciences. The students of the department are active in the literary club “Khalil bin Ahmed Al-Farahidi”, interested in highlighting the creators and owners of promising pens of male and female students, on national and religious occasions, and contributing to the identification of some of the men of the region and some of the Algerian famous figures.
